added some new screenshots.

i'll work on getting a download ready for the weekend.

don't expect anything until Friday or Saturday.

it's getting more stable, but memory split in kernel still creates some problems sometimes.

there are shortcomings for sure, but it's ICS in the end.

i have done some theme work, but most probably won't notice it. removed most all the leftover orange and green from GB. also I have removed some options (very few) that didn't seem to work correctly in the settings. i have also turned off hw acceleration in some apps for better stability.

at some point i'll release the other build i have with the new adreno drivers, but it won't be good for daily use due to some graphic anomalies but it's fun to play with...

camera works, preview is weird looking at times, camcorder will not record but it's recognized and preview works.

everything works from what i can tell except the camcorder

i'll be releasing a version with the updated adreno drivers, which should fix the pixelation that's present in some of the graphics, sometime soon.

i'm going to work on it 'til transparency is fixed--that's all that was giving it trouble to begin with. well, that and genlock, which has been fixed.

I do not know if you are interested in mine opinion, but in this state in my opinion this ROM works better than yours gb 2.3.5.

I thought RAM would be a big issue but not at all, it works just barely slower than your previous final gb versions.

As for errors, I deleted DSP manager and now in logcat log I get audio filter error altough audio itself is working.

I recieved 3 random freezes probably because of our low RAM devices. I'll try adding swap settings but probably it won't work because of kernel.

One strange problem is that even after installing google apps, google does not recognize my device... I mean I cannot install remotely any of my apps.

Also the launcher is somewhat buggy and I do not know how to disable its animation, when entering the menu I see root letters but they quickly dissapear.

SMSC settings by code work now... I did not tried the third setting but I'll doubt it will work because of the ROM it is based on.

This post is intended only for Euro users to know what they will get.

P.S One lower part of keyboard is not available on euro roamers.

the keyboard issue is exactly why i said use the latinime.apk that is attached above... for that and voice search.

if you delete stuff and get errors that's your own fault. so, don't delete stuff lol

I know I installed your keyboard but the issue is persistant. Maybe there is difference between our devices in terms of size.

It is easy to say don't delete stuff you have 512 MB of RAM. I do not need DSP manager...

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the issue isn't persistent... or shouldn't be. if it displayed correctly in gb it will in ics cause is the same freaking keyboard

remove the latinime that came with the rom, install the attached.

hell, there's even a screenshot proving it displays correctly above with the app i attached.

it's crap like this that make not want to release anything.

I think you are little arrogant. We all respect what you did for our devices, but you should really calm down.

After all, I installed this just of couriosity. This is not crap just a statement. Where did you stated that we should first uninstall original keyboard than install the one that you provided?

Not lot of us are power users. If this is what makes you nervous than ignore posts like this. I thought it was an update of some kind an kind and in the original post I stated that my posts are relevant only for future euro users to know what to expect from this ALPHA version.

GREAT NEWS!!!!

so now,

i have the merit running on the official cyanogenmod msm7x27 kernel

motorhead had google's gb source running on this kernel, but when i was using it in cm's gb build originally it was causing gpu issues / SOD, and panic reboots here and there--basically too unstable for my likings.

i've since got that fixed i believe, so now she should be able to run the new adreno libs perfectly...

new build in process.

now i just need another device lol......

i believe this will fix the problems with using the new ril too possibly correctly mobile data.

well,

i finally found the problem with mobile data...

but i'm not disclosing the fix at the moment.

right now, i'm running ics near 100%

i've actually got the camcorder recording now too, but the preview is wackier...

as soon as another device makes it my way, i'll update links for everyone.

until then, i'll be using ics on my daily driver. i'm not logcatting on this phone though to save the usb since i use this one every day. that's why i need another phone... all it takes is one.
