So far, it only looks like the Z3 will be available here in the States, with T-Mobile. No word on the Z3 Compact.

That being said, I'm definitely getting one. Not sure when though. My wife and I are leaving Verizon for Cricket (AT&T coverage for a fraction of the price, hell yeah). Her contract is up in October, mine isn't up until March.

You can order one from Clove UK though:

Buy Sony Xperia Z3 Compact

I'll probably wait for availability at the sony store to take advantage of 0 percent financing and a student discount. I'm planning on getting the z3c for the gf and the z3 for me. I'll get both unlocked though in case coverage is an issue so I can use at&t instead. Hopefully it becomes available at the Sony store quickly.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question...

I would like to purchase the Z3 Compact and I'm trying to decide if to purchase it at Amazon or directly from Sony. I have an Amazon gift card for a modest amount, so financially there would be a difference. What I'm wondering is if there is a difference in the phones between what Sony will sell on the U.S. website and the International version you can purchase at Amazon. Since there will be no carrier branding in the U.S., will Sony just sell the unlocked international version in the U.S. Sony store? Also, will there be any issues with the one year manufacturers warranty if purchased at Amazon?

Thanks for any help you guys can give.
