Looking for a music player that will allow me to play locally stored, (on phone), music and that will display the time remaining to the track while it plays. Any suggestions?

Music PLayer app that will display time reminaing to the track playing

MediaMonkey displays both the elapsed time and the time remaining of locally stored music.
MediaMonkey (free) is my favorite media player app-- especially if used in conjunction with the free MediaMonkey for Windows because then you can sync music, videos, podcasts & playlists between your PC and Android device. There's also a free MediaMonkey Remote app which lets you control your PC's playback from your phone. It's the only PC-to-Android TOTAL SOLUTION that I know of. (It's like the iTunes total solution for PC/Mac-to-iPhone, but it's way more flexible and powerful.)

You can export your iTunes playlists as industry-standard M3U files.
From there you can install MediaMonkey for Windows (MMW) and import your M3U playlists into MMW. Then export them to MediaMonkey for Android (MMA). I explained how to do that in at the following link (which is also contained within the above link).
