Using Tasker along with Juice Defender

Hello,
I have Juice Defender for managing battery life and it toggles of Wifi and bluetooth when screen is off to save battery. I created a Tasker profile than checks if the phone is connected to a trusted wifi and if so to disable the pin protection on the lock screen. However, since Juice defender turns off wifi Tasker frequently turns on the pin protection on the lock screen and only once I enter the pin and enter the main screen does Juice Defender turn on wifi defeating tasker's purpose. Does anyone know as to how battery does toggling wifi save? Juice Defender usually reports upto 70-100% savings which is a lot. Is there a Tasker profile that will recognize that it is near a wifi rather than connected to it when the screen is switched on and disable the lock screen?

Why don't you just use tasker to do what juice defenders does instead if using both? You could get tasker to toggle WiFi if you really wanted.

I get tasker to toggle wifi off when it leaves a WiFi connection (I leave the house etc) and it switches WiFi back on when I'm near to cell towers on various locations. Phone is searching cell towers anyway so minimal battery drain here.

juice defender hasn't been updated in almost 3 years. It looks like the dev abandoned the project.
As suggested above, just use tasker to manage your battery. Personally, I dont like battery saving apps. They love to turn off data and background sync, which DOES increase battery life but at the cost of late notifications (at least in my experience, anyway).
