Help nexus 4 turn on problem

when i try to turn my nexus 4 up, the google sign shows up and then the screen goes in black,and nothing happens.

USB-Debugging is off, device is rooted , but bootloader is locked

What can i do??

I had a similar issue in the past, it was due to my battery was drained and i had to leave it for charge between 5- 15 minutes before it would turn on. Does your N4 battery have charge before you turned it on? if not, then leave it charging for 5-15 minutes.

i charged the battery a few times, but still.

I think ROM Manager has bricked the phone, cause i wanted to install franco kernel, but then this shit happened.

What steps did you take to root the device without unlocking the bootloader? Knowing where you came from, so to speak, will help us help you.

i used TOWELROOT. then i had yellow pixels on the screen. I tried to use Faux Clock app, but it didn´t help.
Then i downloaded rom manager free and franco kernel, tried to install it but the phone never booted on again.

Why would you want to use apps like ROM Manager on a Nexus?? Charge it ...get to bootloader...and flash the stock images thru fastboot...is your device detected in fastboot mode?

I'm going to have to agree with @mrao on this - it sounds like you tried to take an unnecessary shortcut, and I'm afraid you've ended up where unnecessary shortcuts tend to lead.

Towelroot and other exploits are great things for devices that aren't super-easy to root out of the box; and you really can't get easier than a Nexus.

There is hope, though! I'm willing to bet that reflashing the factory images will get you up and running again. We've got a handy guide for that here: [Guide]How to flash a Nexus Factory Image manually. - Android Forums

If you want to root again after you're functional again, the best way to do it would be to use fastboot to flash a custom recovery (TWRP or ClockworkMod) and then use that to flash the latest SuperSU zip. Here are some nice (though possibly slightly dated - doesn't matter, the steps are the same) instructions for doing that.

That's kind of the thing - when stuff like towelroot works, it's all good; when it fails, though, you're generally left without any good idea of what actually went wrong. Exploits like that work by taking advantage of abnormal conditions, so when they fail some of those abnormal conditions could linger around and haunt you for a bit.

Good luck with the factory image flashing. That should get you back on your feet and it's a great skill to have in your arsenal. It's pretty hard to break a Nexus as long as you can get into the bootloader and reflash images there.

I found some info here about the "red light when charging" thing:

If you're unable to turn on your device, it could be because your device was not powered off correctly and the battery completely drained. You can get your device to power on using the following steps:

**Note** Please use the USB cable and charging adapter that came with your device. Using other chargers could cause your device to charge more slowly, not at all, or damage your device.

Step 1 - Please plug the power adapter into a functioning wall outlet and connect your device to the adapter.
-Hold the following buttons for 10 seconds based on your device:
Nexus 7: Press and hold Volume Down first, then also press and hold the Power button.
Nexus 4 or Nexus 10: Press and hold both Volume Up and Volume Down first, then also press and hold the Power button.
-The device should load the bootloader which has a picture of an Android and the word 'Start' with highlight around it.
-Use the volume buttons to navigate through the options until they see 'power off', then to press the power button on the device to select the 'power off' option.
-Unplug the device and quickly plug it back in within 10 seconds.
-You should see a charging battery icon on the screen.
-Hold the power button for 15 seconds and the device should turn on. If not, go to the next step.

Step 2 - Charge the device for 1 minute:
-Plug your device into its original power adapter using the charger's original USB cable, ensuring that the power cord is securely connected to the tablet and the power adapter. Also, make sure you're using a functioning power outlet.
-Wait for one minute.
-Press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds to see if the device powers on.
-If a charging battery icon appeared, the device may need more time to charge before it will turn on. Either way, if the device did not turn on, go to the next step.

Step 3 - Charge the device for 1 hour:
-Plug your device into its original power adapter using the charger's original USB cable for an hour, ensuring that the power cord is securely connected to the tablet and the power adapter. Also, make sure you're using a functioning power outlet.
-After an hour, disconnect the charging cable from your device.
-Within 10 seconds of disconnecting the cable, quickly connect the cable again.
-Press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds to see if the device powers on. If not, go to the next step.

Step 4 - Charge the device overnight:
If your device does not power on after following the steps listed above, try charging your device overnight (at least 10 hours), then repeating Step 3.

Could be worth a shot? Otherwise, I think that guy ended up with an RMA.
