Help Voicemail notification not showing

I'm experiencing the same issue, and no, there are no obvious toggles under the Settings menu, including Advanced Calling.

Trouble is, I have no idea whether this problem began happening after my OS upgrade to Advanced Calling, or if it was pre-existing. I'm not a big voicemail user, and much of mine goes to Google Voice or my work phone.

Waiting on Lollipop before I begin re-enabling my various Verizon apps, in search of a solution.

After digging into this I was able to figure out that I at some point turned notifications off in the stock voice mail app. Just go into your app drawer and long press the voice mail app to bring up app info, make sure the show notifications box is checked. I kind of remember turning this off but can't remember why. I don't know if it matters but I also haven't updated my phone to advanced calling yet.

Well, this is interesting. I logged on today because my daughter is having the same problem on her Samsung and I am having the exact opposite on my Turbo! In my case, my notification will NOT go away. Even after I went into the app, clicked off the notification button and restarted my phone! Any clues anyone? (Verizon carrier).
