Hello - I bought my first Android phone - The Droid Turbo - last night and I have been playing with it all day. I cannot seem to get the Motorola Device Manager to work. I downloaded the software and installed it, then plugged in my Droid. When I did that, the icon that is supposed to appear in the system tray was not there and the icon on my system still says CD Drive (G
Installer. I click that and a pop-up window appears that shows the Device manager downloading. It stops halfway through and I click the Install Now button. The pop-up window disappears, but the Device manager never shows up.
How do I get my computer to recognize my Droid so that I can transfer music and other files to the Droid?
