Options for storage forr Galaxy S6

I am planning on purchasing the Galaxy S6 but am concerned about the storage. I store a pretty decent amount of music on my S5(over 2500 songs) using an SD card. But, since there is no expandable storage on the S6, I am wondering what the best choice would be, either to get the 64GB or 128GB device or if there is a cloud storing app that I can use to store my music there without using up my device storage?

All depends on your media use and your perception of practicality. Whatever the case, the 128gb will be nuts expensive and that assumes it is even offered by your carrier. Even the 128gb version is 24gb less total storage than my Note 4 with a 128gb card- and still probably $200 more.

Sure the speed is relatively faster with the built in storage, but my $98 micro sd shows zero sign of speed bottlenecks with hi def video, music, game roms, etc. And I can take the card and put in my next device (like I did with the S4 to the N4). No transferring many gigabytes of storage with the craptastic media transfer Android has forced users in to.

Less convenient, more expensive and less storage. I do not in any stretch of spin see Samsung's move as positive. Only see it as trying to clone Apple's device model and they will likely choke. The differentiation they had is gone now. Apple salutes them.

For the few that use SD cards (myself included) it's a hit. But the 20 million pre-order proves we're in the minority - by a huge margin. I recently jumped back to Droid (Turbo). I broke my S4, was on a trip, and grabbed the 64GB model out of necessity. I've gotten used to not having an SD card now and doesn't seem like a big deal anymore (not having an SD card).

How large is your current sd card and how much of it is filled?

I currently have the s5 which is 16 gb internal which has got hardly 1 gb free and a 64 gb card which has got about 2 gb free. Also i was check around and found a great sounding phone not sure how good it will actually turn out to be, its called the saygus v2 and has 64gb internal memory and supports 2 128gb micro sd cards plus a host of great features which sammy in its infinite wisdom has decided are irreverent and decided to remove.

On paper the Saygus does look very interesting. We just don't yet know what the reality will be (assuming it happens, since they've not released a device to the market yet).

I actually pre-registered for it, but decided not to go ahead in the end (I never buy a phone without seeing it in the flesh first, and decided not to break that rule).

Is it from China? See also phones like OnePlus and Xiaomi. Great specs, takes SD, and is a good price. But on the other hand can't buy it from local stores and carriers, have to order on-line from Hong Kong or something, and any problems it has to go back to Hong Kong for warranty service. It's probably not for many regular phone users, like my father, if he's never heard of it and can't buy it from Carphone Warehouse or O2, he won't be buying it.
