Galaxy S6 battery

So I'm debating about whether I want to get the Galaxy S6 or S5... one major thing is keeping my choice at bay. I've heard the battery on the S6 is horrible and you can't remove it to swap it out with another... I don't like the S5 as much but at least you can swap out the battery.

what to do?

Agree with the above. I havent noticed a big battery difference unless you are really into gaming. Coming from the s5, i was nervous about battery life but so far I am very happy with the s6 and the decision to upgrade!

If price, an sd card, or removable battery isn't a factor, i would recommend the s6. The battery also charges so so quickly, it's impressive.

The quick recharge comments are pretty useless if you are hiking, canoeing, camping or relaxing at a beach without a source of electric power. Also a concern is that batteries do wear out. If the battery is not replaceable then your phone will lose value to you or to a potential resale.

Extended size batteries are readily available for the S5.

I actually just decided to go with the S5 and purchased one for both me and my wife from T-Mobile. I couldn't pass up the price I paid at the time of 469 dollars for each phone when the S6 is 679 dollars. 200 dollars more. Plus no removable battery. At that price for no removable battery... Kind of a deal breaker.

Eventually when it goes down in price I wouldn't mind upgrading to it. But I'm sure by then they will be getting ready to release the S7.
