Hello!!!

Yesterday my Galaxy S III phone got booting problem. It shows the booting Samsung Logo and goes-off and with in second again appears and continues on and off. I tried pressing any button but no response from the phone. Phone get off when i remove the battery from the phone. I believe this may be due to some OS corruption.

I am stressed now. Kindly help to find a solution for this. Can I re-install Android by any other method?

Thanks

Hi Luke, my phone is not switching off properly. only off by removing the battery. when i put the battery on, start with Samsung Galaxt S III logo and disappear. like it continues. When I press Home+Volume down+Power, display appear with some message and back to restarting. I have no clue what really happened.

Thanks

Once it starts loading immediately let go. Try that. It worked for me.

If that doesn't work, do the same thing but press the Volume Up button quicker when it starts loading. You should go right to the Downloading Screen.

Also try charging the battery to 100% and then try and do Power+Home+Volume Down

This is the first and last time I buy a Samsung phone... :(
It's not a Samsung issue per say, your power button is failing, as stated earlier by someone saying it was "jammed". If it was the OS that you are hoping a factory reset would fix, the problem would not arise while in recovery or download mode. Since it did happen there you can reliably say it's a hardware issue. I've had them fail before, they are either hyper sensitive or act like you are holding the power button down when your not. I've had them replaced at a repair shop for about $45 after that no more problems.

Yeah, but when I hold the power button down it normally shows the power menu, whenever it turns off on me it doesn't, it just does it without telling me...
