Verizon GN4 5.0.1 Update available now!

I just did my near-daily check for an OS update and - surprise, surprise - there is one! I did a quick web search and found that this is still 5.0.1 and the official list of changes is small and disappointing, but I can't help but be hopeful that this update fixes some/most/all of the issues I've encountered after updating to Lollipop.

I will report back once the very large update has completed installing, though it might take a day or two to see if the battery life has improved.

So excited and hopeful!!

The multitasking button seems to lag less now after the update.

Initial battery-life reports are promising! We'll see... I might not put my phone on the charger tonight just to get a better idea of the new lifespan.

I went back to 4.4.4 after that update. .battery life is better on 4.4.4, ,,,,, just my opinion and yes I am on vzw to

Well, after more than a day with the update, I can report that there might be a *slight* improvement in battery life but nothing like what I was hoping for. It's definitely not back to KitKat levels, but I think it will make it through the workday at least. Sigh.

Agree battery life slightly better, but functions seem faster.
