You'll see the LG logo a few times over when booting, but it will post. Dunno what's up with these latest kernels with that issue, but its easy to overlook considering the benefits

Ok. I'll give it a shot again today. Guess i shouldnt be so impatient. I'll post an update after work today.
took me a little longer to get to this. so when i did it again it boot loops 3 times then on the fourth try it goes to recovery.

Alright

New LG Leon MS34510E

Rooted
Twrp 2.8.7.0 Installed Via App. (Twrp is black and Gold but states it is 2.8.7.0 at the top.. On my last LG Leon it was Blue and Black.. Idk if that makes a difference.)

attempt to install CM12.1.1

I am getting No such file directory error, and no such volume. This happens on "mount:" and attempts 2x.

whats causing this error..

Full error string

Mount: Failed to mount /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/system
at /system: no such file directory
unmount of /system failed; no such volume

Edit: Fixed, Updated Twrp to the file in the Original Post. Fixed problem

Future readers with this issue. Don't use the Google apps Twrp. Use the file listed in original post. Just remember Black and gold = bad, Black and Blue is good.

Also if you have yellow twrp, make a new backup of your stock rom using the blue twrp from the OP...(before installing the CM rom)...to ensure that your backup will be able to be reverted to without any complications after installing CM. If the same twrp that made the backup is the one to restore it as well, then all should be gravy in terms of backup/restore to stock.

YES!!!! T-Mobile just confirmed that their lg Leon will get updated to marshmallow and if you ever followed the Leon update cycle the metro Leon and T-Mobile Leon get the exact updates on the exact same days so this might mean a metro Leon marshmallow confirmed !!!!!!!! And if not I'm just gonna flash the T-Mobile firmware

Please show your source for this information. The only mention of the Leon getting 6.0 was a single site with no trackable source as well.

Fair point, I can definitely understand where ur coming from, because now that i think about it, it really just is this phone and the lg stylo from metro that actually got the 5.1.1 update, i believe because they were released this year. So yeah we'll just sit back and wait to c what happens, if we get it then we got something else to toy with and tweak, but if we don't, we'll always have this custom rom that most likely we'll be receiving updates sometime in the future and/or we could definitely tweak and change, so fair game guys, lets c what happens

Installed nice. No real problems so far and I'm liking this quite a lot!

I've encountered one bug which isn't too crippling but is kind of annoying. Since updating to this, the Battery percentage doesn't show the correct amount unless I reboot my phone. It will remain at a certain percentage for a long period of time. Sometimes (too inconsistent to really measure) it will go down on its own without a reboot.

Any idea why this would be?
