Root S5 running cm 12.1 running slow after a couple of weeks

I did a fresh wipe and install of cm 12.1 on my s5 for the first time a couple of weeks ago and the change in speed on the phone was dramatic. However after a couple of weeks it has really slowed down, I run cc cleaner on it every few days but no real difference.

I'm thinking of wiping and installing again.

Any suggestions

Maybe use wakelock detector or system Monitor to see if you have any greedy apps

OFFICIAL CM12.1 is on Nightly's still. So, if there is a problem, it has probably been fixed by now... or soon.

Sorry not sure what you mean in your post.

I can't see anything wrong with my phone so I'm going to do a fresh install

Looks like you are not on the official CyanogenMod, CM12.1, ROM then as they are on nightly beta releases still.

Oh bugger how did that happen. I've been getting weekly updates.

Should I get the rom from the location you listed and try that?

Just chexked I'm on the original nightly build but updates were just set to weekly, there are 3 updates outstanding so I'll download those and see what happens
