Hi all,
Just ordered the Nexus 6P and just like everyone else out there we want to protect our devices by getting the proper accessories. Not everyone out there knows about the right kind of chargers to purchase. Not all USB Type C chargers are created equal. There are only a very few out there that work and protect your device. Fortunately, for us, Googles Software engineer, Benson L, decided to take on the task of giving his test results and stamp of approval.

Let's begin by seeing what comes in the box for cables and chargers:
- Power Brick (which accepts Type C)
- Type C to Type C cable
- USB Type A to C adapter
Now, let's discuss spare chargers and Cables.
Following Cables have received Benson's approval/passed his tests:

http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Chromeb...dp/B00WJSPFOW/

Unfortunately, there aren't any Official or unofficial car chargers out there for this phone (which i'm very upset about, come on Google as much as i love you and your products - think of a product hollistically). I did speak w/ Google CS who suggested that i get a Power Inverter for my Car. Really?!?!?
Following are the questions i have for the Pros out there:
- If i order one of the Type A to C cables listed above and i connect it to my laptop will it hurt my phone?
- Does it matter what type of power brick i connect the above cable to (Power specs etc.,)
- Several cars these days come with built in USB port, will it be ok to connect my Type A to C cable to one of those ports and charge my Nexus 6P?
- Finally, what is the recommended power rating to charge this phone?
Thanks!
