Help wave ,how can i drive with in ear headphones & display off?

Hi
i have a problem with waze , honestly with google map too

well i have installed the new version of waze

i did set a route and i stated to drive
i want to use my in ear headphones and keep the display off (to save battery)

how can i do it? and can i do it?
the same problem happen with google map
i will appreciate it a lot!

Go to Waze settings and turn off the keep screen on function.

And driving with in ear headphones, which are noise cancellers, would be dangerous. Just use the loudspeaker.

No idea with Google Maps. I never really used it for navigation.

Google Maps has no setting to use it without the display turned on

so the phone should be always plugged to the "car lighter" (don't know the name)
and a walking route will drain the battery very quickly

very simple, just hit the power button, that blanks the screen, I do it all the time to prevent wasted power drain.
the map works just fine and keeps talking to me thru the speaker.
