Help How to delete preset bookmarks

Im having a problem with locked bookmarks that won't allow me to delete them, and it's going to bother me forever, and I will quite literally lose sleep over it. I have OCD, and I'm afraid if I don't find a way to delete them I might go crazy. Please help, if all else fails I might end up rooting just to delete these damn bookmarks.

Not quite as OCD as all that, but I too detest crap bookmarks in my browsers, and go into the program to delete them.

Long press and choose delete on each one. I've never heard of locked bookmarks, what browser are you using? If it's the default Android browser, disable it and use Chrome.

I'm afraid it's not as simple as just long press, because when I do that it doesn't give me the option to delete the bookmarks or folder (it's the default browser)

Then switch to Chrome? Way better and safer than the default browser
