I'm on boost and I don't notice any changes at all other then my bluetooth trackers are working. I guess they fixed a few bugs. A notification pops up saying that there was a update no change log at all.

can anyone with root upload a copy thats preferably zipped of there priv-apps in there system folder I need those to get my phone 100% back to normal the reason im not using it now is because I deleted some files so my phone wouldnt update on me but now I cant access the system update menu in settings to update my profile or prl to get data on my phone so I can only use talk and text.

it wont hurt your phone if it doesnt root it then you just uninstall kingroot and that is that, no harm no foul

Really need root soon for zv4. Phone getting full. Gonna do a factory reset soon. Let's see what update I get. On Virgin Mobile Lg Stylo 2(ls775) with sim card.

I'm on ZV4, and I got a message today about an Android system update. Has anyone taken that, and if so does it affect root in any way?

I just did the update. I don't notice any changes yet but my phone isn't rooted. I'm confused is there a full working root for this phone yet and if so where is the link and any benefits from it?

I've only rooted one phone in my my and that was the LG optimus f7 (I think that was it) and I loved it. Just wondering if there was a full working g root for this phone yet

Just wanted to mention something, im on v3 and am rootable but today i reset my phone and installed kingroot to temp root and for the life of me couldnt switch out kingroot for supersu and then I restarted my phone and kingroot actual is sticking it used to temp root then go away on reboot but idk why but now its sticking which isnt bad but odd dont know how that happened.

Renegade: Root can be achieved on the zv3 version of the phone, but we have not successfully accessed the bootloader yet to be able to achieve permanent root on zv4. It may help us solve this if you could try various methods (KingRoot, Poot, adb, etc.) To try and root your zv5. It is a new update, so we know very little about its root-ability
