Just to send the request and see what the number was at. I tried KingRoot. We are at 13,056 requests now. Anyone know what's the request number requirement for them to dig into it?

Like 1000. They're going through the list. I've seen the top 2 phones removed, so I'm guessing they got rooted.

K I wasn't sure since I recently switched from Samsung and had fastboot,download mode etc etc so I'm not to familiar with ftm,edl and what not lol but I'll learn as I go along. Thanks for the quick reply. Also as mentioned in the posts there was something about the axon root tool? Could u send me the link plz

It doesn't work for the 981. It's on page 47 I think. I'll see if I can find it.

Appreciate it and regards to the adb included? Is anyone in the forum on Linux? Also I know it don't work for the z981 I seen the post but didn't see link lol I'm gonna see about the reverse engineering to see if we can get it to work for/support the z981

Linux has native support for adb
If for some reason you don't do:
sudo apt-get install adb -y

Lol I'm pretty savy with Linux I just took it that way when u said adb included. I build kernels and actually started messing around with the z981 kernel source so we have a custom kernel when we do get root/TWRP going, so pretty I'm familiar with the command line, I've even built kernel apps like kernel aduitor and what not.

Hey, you never know man. Some people don't know linux at all. If you can get a custom kernel going, that'd be sick.

That's very true and ya this phone has really decent specs so I'm gonna see how far I can push it lol

One of my buddies made a custom waterblock for his SoC, complete with a water pump and hoses. His phone's like 4" deep. But he overclocked it to all hell

Lol I'm not talking that far lol more like 1.8-1.9 GHz for the big cores and 1.6 for the smaller cores and GPU around idk 700mhz or so. Then of course governor's and the likes.

Its embedded in the axon7root app.

Decrypt the exe, unzip using 7zip. Then it will produce a unencrypted vmp file which you then have to use a dissembler to get embedded firehouse mbn file.

Is it just me or does this phone feel like a fake android.? I mean it looks like android but when u really pay close attention it feels like something else. Or maybe I'm just too used to Samsung and lg. Idk
