will do, i work from home so I'm preoccupied during the days usually. I have everything i need now has ANYONE downgraded yet like this except me or will i be the first? Hey, I gave it a shot with uppercut and this was the result. Some people can downgrade using this method but others can't. My result was this and then the phone rebooted back into the UI. I'll have to give the other tool a try i guess.

There is another one im checking into its a qualcom flash tool when u had lgup did it give u a chance to change from up grade to one of the other settings i saw ur post it showed upgrade whitch will not work as up grade needs to do with the cse or somthing like that

yes FOTA upgrade is the other one that starts to flash and then flakes out but I haven't tried with the battery out for a min but we will get it =)

I'm making a little progress but I am gonna have to call it good for the night. Anyways, I extracted the .kdz and the .dz it was like 25 gigs lol! Once I did that I merged system to make a system.img as well as pull recovery and boot and aboot and laf (grrrr) I wish we could nuke it to get to fastboot but i got those from the extraction and once I can take a look at them closer I am going to consider taking a crack at this program here for qualcomm chipsets http://www.aryk.tech/2016/12/toolstudio-emmc-download-tool-helps-you.html anyway, thanks you roadkill for your help, if the downgrade with lg up and uppercut didn't work we will find a way that will =)

give it a shot as long as it has a Qualcomm chipset you should be good just remember to install the bulk drivers first [emoji106]

here is a couple files the stock v3 recovery being one of them and boot and aboot as well, I have all of the other system partitions too. if someone wants to take another crack at recovery im pretty sure we have all of the mount point and partition table info we need...if someone with more experience with these files could take a look at them or could build from them let me know I'm zipping the stock system.img now also if that helps. I'll add that and everything else I've accumulated today to this google drive folder for us. I'm kind of flying blind but I don't care. I will also attempt a TWRP build for those already with root so we can flash the nougat update too, if someone has that OTA can you speak up or pm me, been an exciting day roadkill!! heres my project folder I'll add more stuff in a bit
