Synaptics announces a new fingerprint scanner that has force sensing and swipe recognition

Synaptics is constantly working on fingerprint scanners and just announced a new one back in January that was rumored to be used in the Galaxy S8. Today the company announced a new module that combines force sensing technology with swipe recognition.
