Help Why does my phone...

...Go into boot-loop when the battery levels hits 39%? Happens every time. Shouldn't it go close to 0% before just quitting? When it does, I have to pull the battery for a few minutes, reinstall it, and fast-charge it to regain use.

Could be the battery is finished, and needs replacing. Note 4 has been around for a while now.

Point taken, it's 2 1/2 years old, but could have sat in a box on a shelf that long too. Let me look for a new one...

Hi, a lot of people have found that the batteries in mobiles can act very strangely when they start dying, they appear to show a variety of faults. I have had my phone for over three years and in that time I have replaced the battery twice, and always with genuine ones. As soon as the phone shows any sign of unusual activity out goes the battery and in goes a new one. Phil

Came in today. Label says "Samsung", I'll compare it to the one it's replacing later tonight when it goes on the charge cord...
