Sound coming from both speakers and headphones

Hello guys i would like to ear my stuff only on headphones but its a problem because my wiko u feel it doesnt even show the headphones icon when i have my headset connected and why is that i hear sound from both speakers and headphones?is this a bug?

They are connected via Bluetooth or hardwired with 3.5mm headset jack?

hardwired they are the defaut choice that came with the phone

Was able to fix the bug with the app SoundAbout it fix the problem but it sucks that i have to download a app to be able to fix it isnt there any other way ?if not it kinds sucks that i cant fix it without it hope that the android staff notices this problem and get a fix in the next os update

It could be a problem with the hardware. Have you tried a different set of headphones? You might also sees what happens with a Bluetooth audio connection (either Bluetooth headphones or an external speaker.)

It's also possible that the jack itself is damaged so that even though it plays the audio, it doesn't let the phone know that a headset is plugged in to turn off the internal speaker.

Yes i did tried it i dont think its the jack itself because this is a new phone

Defects can happen in manufacturing, too. You might have just got a bad one. If the vendor confirms that the phone was not designed to do that, you might just have to get a warranty replacement.
