The original Monument Valley was a puzzle game for Android Game that saw smashing success thanks to its combination of beautifully simplistic graphics and concise yet intricate mazes. It earned millions of downloads (and dollars), but will the sequel enjoy similar success with a steep price of $6.49?

The price isn't confirmed, but Play Store searches yield results that suggest it to be accurate.

I will 100% buy this game. I don't know how other people finished the first one so quickly... it took me MUCH longer than most people and I got stuck on the last level. Never beat it.

It's less than the price of a movie ticket and it entertained me for the entirety of an international flight. Yes... I realize that's saying a lot about the game and not much about my intelligence!

Will buy. I always think it's funny, the stigma people put on mobile game purchases. It's like everyone thinks everything should be free just because it's on mobile. People think you're crazy for spending $5 on something that gives you hours of entertainment. But then they'd spend $100 to go watch a football game that lasts a few hours. Entertainment is entertainment.

That is so true, just a couple of weeks ago one of my acquaintance borrowed my tablet as he wants to check my games on it. After checking em out he wants me to gave him a copy of Titan Quest, Iesabel, Space Marshal 1 and Ravensword but I said I can't because I bought those games and the guy got pissed and told me I'm just being selfish, I have to show him my account history just to make him believe that I wasn't lying.

Later that evening he "advised" me to just pirate games to not waste money... you guys should've seen my face.

OT:
The game isn't really my cup of tea but its still cool to see a high quality game make its way to Android.

It's funny that people will happily hand over £50+ for the latest AAA console game franchise, but baulk at paying a few pence for a mobile game. Ok the longevity isn't there, but I bet if you worked out the cost per hour of entertainment, the mobile game would be cheaper.

Oh, definitely. Literally everyone I know will not buy an app. I will get people gift cards for apple app store or play store just because they will never buy an app even if they want it. I just don't get it.
