Has anyone published their app?

I'm thinking about putting my app on the app store. But I'm just curious to see who has an app on the store and how well it's doing. I'm not expecting much as their are so many todo apps on there. But, again, I'd like to just see what happens as it's my first proper app. It's just for fun really.

I've done some final checks. Done a lot of testing on some older devices too and I think it's ready now.

I'm just worried people will not like it or something. I've used some third part libraries and tried my best at including licensing and everything and I'm hoping I've done it right. I really don't understand why, but I'm nervous.

Who has an app on there, and how well is it doing?

At first getting downloads is not that easy there is aso and many other ways to make your app visible in the store .
Google filter the apps in search by :
1- your app name
2- how many installs
3- how many unistalls
4- how many reviews
5- the average of the rating
From 2- 5 is the main purpose you uploaded it in the store so .
You must promote your app by your self at the first or you advertise your app then you will installs by checking aso

Definitely go for it!

There are plenty of todo apps on the play store so don't expect too many downloads, but it's good to learn how it works. Your first app should mostly be about gaining the experience anyway. Before you do it would be very good if you could integrate Crashlytics, https://fabric.io/kits/android/crashlytics/install, that way you can easily see when users are experiencing problems (crashes) in your app and release fixes.

If you do release it send me a PM and I'll give you some feedback if you want.
