Husband and I are on Verizon. I have had my G6 for a while and he just got his last month. Both our phones pushed out the update tonight. His was fine after rebooting and everything was just the way we had it set up. Mine wiped out everything except it left me with the photo I had set for my background.

What I mean is all my icons on the home screen were gone and only a few were there almost like when my phone was out of the box but not quite. My smooth calendar is gone at the top of my screen. I had a second screen set up with with the weather widget at the top and my games. I would swipe left to get to this screen and now I can't swipe left. I can swipe right and get some kind of white page that says frequently used apps at the top then your news and a blue box that says what would you like to read. Why did this happen to me? How do I get my smooth calendar back at the top of the home screen and how do I set up a second screen with my weather widget and games because it won't let me swipe to make more screens. I have my phone set to a home screen with app drawer so it did come back like that. Mary

Ok I got it all sorted after I posted and got it all set up again. I did use LG back up before I did the update so could just reload that but didn't bother. I don't understand why mine did thia and his didn't. Mary

Did you and your husband use different launchers? It sounds like the home screen settings on your phone got wiped out, but it didn't actually delete any o the apps or data.
