Screen turns on after reaching a full charge

This is a new behavior. The moment the phone reaches a 100% charge the screen turns on and beeps.
I use a wireless charger and use it when I go to sleep, so this behavior is very annoying.
I've looked online and it's been reported as a new bug--please advise.

I'm actually posting the solution for this issue. I've noticed every morning when I woke up that my phone screen was lit up after charging. I'd have to click the power button to get it off. Annoying.

You have to go into your settings, and then developer options. There's an option called stay awake that doesn't allow your screen to sleep while charging. It's probably turned on. Turn it off.

That should fix it.
