Chinese Character Displayed in English DropDown

What actual "Android App" are you talking about? Suggest you post the Play Store URL. Like you might sometimes see Chinese mixed in with English in apps that are localised and intended for those regions. Do you know if they're Traditional or Simplified Chinese characters? As Traditional is usually used in HK, Singapore and Taiwan. If necessary post some screen-shots, which might give us a better idea of what's going on there.

Thanks for the quick response. The app is having both English and Chinese version of app. However in one of the page we have 3 questions out of which two are yes or no dropdown and the third dropdown is pre defined list of items.,

Even for the Chinese version we are showing the drop downs as English, but from an issue reported we identified that these selections are coming are chinese which is failing for us while saving.

Are you a developer, and and are having problems with the user language choices and translations in your app?

I know with apps of Chinese origin, and occasionally they're not completely translated from Chinese into English, or sometimes other languages.

Chinese translations are working fine for the translated fields. For the app we have not given any Chinese translations for the drop downs selections since it will not be accepted by the target system where we save the data.

The problem is that when the Chinese version of the app, the expected result is that the dropdowns is still shown in English and Not Chineses. However, in some phones, it is displaying Chinese which is failing the transaction.
