Root Can't root Galaxy S7 SM-G930W8

When I try to root my Samsung galaxy S7 with Odin it says "Reset" and not "Pass" like it is supposed to. I'v tried downloading the correct root file from a few different sources and still wont work. I also tried RootGenius. I want to root it to remove built in apps that I don't need, like the Rogers app, Rogers NHL (no Idea why they are on there as it is unlocked and never with rogers I don't think.), Facebook, Whats app etc. They are just taking up space that I could be using for other stuff.

Any ideas why it wont work??

Not sure why you are not getting a Pass if flash is successful. Do you have OEM Unlock toggled in Developer options?
Pre installed apps (bloat) are installed in the System Partition. Deleating them will not free up any space in the User Data Partition. You can disable them and that will remove them from your app drawer and you won't be bothered with updates.
Easy way to do this is with Package Disabler Pro

Do you have a link to a guide that you are following?
In the link to the root method I mentioned in my second post, Odin also shows Reset instead of Pass, but there is steps you need to take immediately after as in Step 13 of the link.

Didn't use a specific guide, I just read a bunch of them and videos and then did it, but I did do everything and right.

Looking at the Basic Instructions at CF Autoroot, I think you might have to catch the phone as soon as you see the Reset pop up on Odin and boot it into recovery for root to work

7.0, was 8.0.0 but hated it and it was making a few things wacky so I flashed 7.0

No. Now I need to find out how to get rid of those apps. I don't want to just disable them, I want to totally get rid of them. Like as if you uninstall a app that you downloaded yourself, and can go back into Google Play and hit the install button.

Look at Titanium Backup. Will let you Freeze (disable) system apps, then uninstall. Best to freeze them for a few days before uninstall to see if phone operation affected.

So I flashed the firmware (same version) on it with odin again to get it out of root... now the apps are back! I guess I will have to live with them.

When you flash the stock firmware, you are putting it back to out of the box condition with all the pre- installed apps. I think there is a setting in the SuperSU app to remove root, been a while since I used SuperSu.

Okay So when I rooted it before, I then unrooted it when I was done. Now I tried to root it again and it failed! Now it is in a boot loop and tries to "install system update" but then fails and says "no command" I can't even flash the firmware on it again, When I try, in Odin it is stuck at "set partition". I Can't get it to work. HEEELLP!!

Fixed. Had to use Odin 3.13, I was on an old version.

Now it is not rooted, But at least I can use it and was able to flash the firmware. I notice that I don't have as good cell signal now. I read here something about flashing MR2 "radio channel" for the signal, but I don't know how. Does any one know?
