LG missed a design feature by not having the power button coinside with the gap between the Volume and Google Assistant button on the left. Its flush with the volume down button on the left. Feels a little awkward on my hand.

I originally installed Next Launcher (as I had it on my previous LG G5), but was having issues with it and widgets not appearing upon waking up the device.
So I downloaded Nova Launcher and so far so good.

Now I just wait until Mark Bencze comes out with a dark UI to install. He has done some excellent work for the LG device.

Except for an unexpected glitch with the MicroSD card turning invisible in PowerAmp and fbreader I'm loving it. There were some settings to be adjusted in both programs that may have solved that. I probably should have just downloaded all that music and book material fresh but I thought it was all saved on the MicroSD card from my LG G6. Nope!

Anywho I finally tested the Quad-DAC with my 1More earplugs. Listening at full volume with the DAC on or off resulted in no clipping whatsoever. The DAC setting on sounds warmer but both where a very satisfying audio experience.

PowerAmp used with Bass, Treble, and Stereo X on 0. Volume to the max.

I just put a Bencze theme on my v20. Stunning! Makes it easier to "rest" my S8+.

I think this has to do with getting a carrier phone rather than an unlocked version but when I swipe down from the top to see quick settings and notifications instead of just a clear all option at the bottom there is also a notifications settings option.

This came in very handy in getting rid of the Sprint App Cloud notification which I'll never use. I'm commited to Google Play.

I'm liking using my voice to turn on the phone without saying Ok/Hey Google. I use "Computer" instead. Unlock works too but you still have ro swipe up on the lockscreen.

The power button ahould be 1.5 3rds from the topof the phone.

The fingerprint button should turn it on and off

So I just installed Amazon Music on my beauty (Supporting the work of "Star Child" aka George Clinton) to listen to Parliament's first album in 38 years.

Amazon Music playing on battery with a Rubber case felt like I could grill a steak on it.

Somebody PLEASE remind me not to pay for streaming music anymore. I finally realized that the heat created is why I stopped doing it.

Did you have the same issue on your G6? I stream Sirius all the time in my wife's car and it only get's moderately warm. I don't even think it would re-heat a cocktail weenie.

I didn't do streaming on batteries on my G6 or my HTC 10. Always had a charger cable connected, always.

The heating issue has gone away after a restart.

There's a new icon in quick settings that I've never seen before wheb i swipe down from the top. Kinda looks like a Buddha statue with a slash though it. I think it's do not disturb?

Anywho... This is a really, really good phone. Almost great!

I see a plus sign in a circle over an old-style handset that laying speaker-side up, but okay, if you say Buddha, sure, why not?

My DND icon looks like a minus sign in a circle with a slash through it. Let's give LG a C- for continuity.
