Task to achieve:
An External USB Microphone should work while ongoing voice call.
I have tested following phones:
1) Micromax Canvas Spark (CyanogenMod 12.1 i.e Android 5.1.1)
2) Redmi Note 4 (Lineage OS 15.1 i.e Android 8.1.0)
3) Redmi Note 4 (MIUI Android 7.0)
4) Samsung J7 PRIME 2 (Android 7.0)
Observation:
Above devices does not take input from external mic during voice call, though third party apps can access the USB microphone.
Few Questions:
1) Can any one explain why external USB microphone is not accepted during call ?
2) Can it be possible to achieve my task using root permissions and modifying kernel / system files ?
3) If it is possible via modifying then where i have to make those changes ?
