I keep getting a mouse cursor appear on my screen.

idk how to fix the problem, ive already tried reseting my phone and it didnt work. it used to appear randomly when i used my phone and it would click something on my screen like open an app or click pause on a youtube video. After i did the reset, it only appeared when i opened google maps and it would star clicking on my screen repeatedly to the point i couldnt do anything and would have to turn the phone of by force.

Welcome to the Android Forums NaginiTacos.! This is about to get weird...

If when you tap on the settings icon you don't see developer options try this:

Open Settings>Scroll down to About and tap on that>Now tap on More where it says Baseband, Kernel etc. >Now tap on Build number 7 times rapidly and you will have enabled Developer options>Go back and tap on the Settings icon>scroll down and tap on Developer options>Scroll down and uncheck Show taps and Pointer location.

If that doesn't work maybe it's a new "feature"?

Ha, I had the same issue. Solved by disable, switching off GPS, try it!

I the same problem. A black mouse cursor which frantically moved around on the center of the screen, with a tiny blue circle around it.

My phone is rooted, so WTF I thought, I couldn't be hacked?

But disabling the GPS fixed it. I think the problem arose when I updated snapchat on my old M8.

Alas!
The frantic mouse cursor is back! Disabling GPS didn't work after all. What to do then?
