Oh, asking for identity confirmation to power off? That's a new one on me, must be a Samsung feature (as I'm running Android 11 and have nothing like that).
I can only suggest looking in your security or power settings. If it's controllable at all one of those would be the logical place to put it, but Samsung do everything their own way so I can't guarantee my definition of logical is the same as theirs (or indeed that there is an option to do this). I'd start with Security settings though (and don't forget to look under "advanced").
hello, it seems like a Samsung thing. I found it in Biometrics and Security (Power off Lock)
reading the Samsung manual about it, has a bit of logic. As I use the Find My Mobile, the feature prevents a thief from turn off the device.
But its extremely annoying.
I changed the settings to Only require unlock in lock screen
thanks, everybody
standard in my s9 after a update. maybe it's standard for those that use the "find my mobile" feature.
or the updates are more or less different according to the device
