Tried both the Seidio cases that came out so far. Liking the Innocase Active right now. The naked Evo has mirror polished sides, which could get dinged or scratched pretty easily if you're not careful.
I bought the black gel case from sprint along with the sprint screen protectors the very second I bought my Evo. IMO, it's a very good looking case and I'm better safe than sorry.
I use a case and screen protector now. After a few months, when I no longer feel the need to baby the phone, I might go naked. That's what I usually end up doing with my phones.
I have a platinum case/holster combo that I bought with the phone, and a Zagg Invsiible Shield face protector. I actually bought the whole body protection Zagg offers, but I decided to just use the Platinum case as well as the face protector. Worked very well for me.
I got the screen protectors from sprint but returned them because they didn't cover the whole screen, which didn't make any sense considering it's one solid piece of glass... why only cover the LCD portion.
First off, partially nude, screen protector only. I've dropped my Evo twice now from no higher than 3.5 feet, it explodes, parts go flying but I still have no scratches. But... all of the sudden my kickstand has lost it's spring resiliency, it just falls out whenever it wants.
@YaBoiD, is that the leather case from the Sprint store? And, has it put ANY scratches or blemishes, subtle or not? I always worry about leather cases, they seem to blemish the glossy finishes over weeks of use. Appreciate your reply.
the cheap screen protector from sprint..... which seems to work pretty good
started off with the body glove case.... but now i replaced it with that limited one from amazon
I only have a Zagg shield on mine, front and back, with a doughnut shaped piece covering the red ring on the camera, so the lens cannot touch when set down
