    Root What does the check mark do in gallery app (ICS)?

    I have ICZen... When I open the Gallery App, there is a check mark in the top left corner. I can long press, and then highlight a few pictures. When I press the check mark in the upper left, nothing happens. What is the function of this???

    I had the weird issue of my screen staying on after texts, missed calls, etc. to the point that it would continue to drain the battery if I let it. The only way to remedy this was seemingly to activate the puzzle lock piece. On a missed text, call, etc., the screen would turn on to notify me...

    What can I do with VPN?

    After I flashed my Vibrant, I have new options that weren't previously available to me, namely a VPN option. I don't really know what a VPN is or what I can do with it... Is it something like tethering where I can make a wireless hotspot for an iPad?

    Root Messed up my phone...

    Rooted, lagfixed, titanium backup (deleted some of the bloatware as directed on the forums), setCPU... Now, my phone shuts off randomly. If I hit the sleep button, it may shut off, may not. Earlier, it got caught in a vibration loop. I'm doing battery pulls ten times a day now. Thing's going...

    Help Swype texting and default numbers...

    Is there any way to tweak Swype so, for example, if I type a "7" and hit space, it will just leave a plain old "7" and not "720p"? It's kind of annoying to have to choose "7" from a drop down list when that's the only thing I typed...

    I have already searched the forums. I saw some vague answers and not were particular to the vibrant... Anyways, I was very excited I got the 32gb memory card. Now, the downside is that I still have to use the AUX input to play music. It's very inefficient to lose the concurrent charging...
