    Help Does GPS work without 3G Activation?

    The GPS in the XOOM is a typical aGPS used in a cell phone. Normally aGPS uses "assistance" from the cell system to acquire GPS. Does the XOOM need to have 3G activated with Verizon for the GPS to acquire?

    Help XOOM as WIFI Hotspot client

    I have a rooted OG Droid. I have WIFI Hotspot enabled, but most android devices cannot connect to an ad-hoc network. An IPad will connect. Can one of you with a XOOM see if it will connect to an ad-hoc WIFI network? thanks.

    Newest Dolphin Broswer supports multitouch

    The newest version of the Dolphin Browser (v 1.29) is multi-touch enabled (pinch zoom) for the Droid. It's not as smooth as I'd like, but pretty darn good for a first effort. Note to Mods: Perhaps this should be in the Android Application forum?
