    Help Locked out grid password

    Hello all Im new to the forum and I just bought a used Samsung Captivate and the previous owner did not reset the phone prior to sale. I cant get passed the initial grid-dot password. Is there any way to get around that, do some kind of reset? Thanks Robbie
