179? More like 299

Tmobile's site has the G1 now to pre order, but its not 179 like they said, its 299. I even called tmobile to get the 179 price. They said it's listed at 299 no one said 179 they said.

If it's a 2-year contract, you don't get full upgrade status until after the 22nd month. I got my first plan back in Dec 06. I can't fully upgrade until Oct 21st (convenient!!!!).
 
ok u were rite, its 179 if u are available for the full upgrade price which I am not. I have to wait till October 10th to get my full upgrade discount. So i can't Pre order.

Anyone with the full upgrade discount, can you confirm its 179 for you?
 
Well, you answered my question. I was hoping I could preorder it and get it on the 22nd at the full discount. Guess not.:P

she said pre order would only be for a week or two. so well have to go to the stores on the 22nd and get em if they are not sold out.
 
ya im havin a problem pre ordering too the t mobile site just keeps freezing up every time i try to upgrade from mytmobile.

They told me on the phone that anyone looking to pre-order would have to pay the $299 price, but if you wait for the national launch on Oct 22nd, you get it for the lower price.
 
Thats Werid My Cousins Order His For 179 but he had to pay the 18 activation fee and taxes so it came to like 214 or something he said
 
yea 299 is if ur not at ur full upgrade price yet, which probably most of us arnt. Mine's October 10th, but in store they'll give you the 179 regardless. They are lame online and follow the rules.

No contract price was 400. Mine was 211 with tax/activation.

35 bucks a month for data and unlimited texts. I think thats 5 more than At&t was charging

limited stock for pre-order. once they sell out, you have to wait until the 22nd and then go to a t-mobile retail location in a 3g market.

you were told wrong, or you heard wrong. $179 for people eligible for an upgrade, $299 for a contract extension, $399 full price.

nope. AT&T charges $29.99 for unlimited data and $20 for unlimited texts. grand total is $50 for what you're getting on T-Mobile for only $35.

t-mobile is only charging what they've always been charging: $20 for unlimited internet and $15 for unlimited text. with your unlimited internet, you also get unlimited hotspot data at any of their hotspot locations on any wi-fi connected device. i've been a subscriber to the unlimited internet for $20/mo for 3 years now to support various winmo phones i've had as well as keep my laptop connected when i travel.
