Help 200+ New Contacts Just Appeared?

Howdy,

A truckload of new contacts appeared on my Evo 4g yesterday. Nobody I know and from a wide variety of locations. They look like real contacts, too: lots of detail, some with pictures, etc. Old contacts are still there. There seems to be no other changes to the phone.

Has my phone been hacked? Any other ideas?

Have you given your phone to your friend recently. He/She may have logged into one of the social networking apps(Facebook, Last fm, twitter etc and synced all the contacts ...

Well if you didn't know, the phone will add all of your social networks, emails, etc to your contact list. Could be a lot of your facebook friends.

If it is random people, I would think it was a bad app.

People get mad at me for it too but I just tell them that if they want to contact me to use my email or call me.

Same thing happened to me, realized it was facebook.
