3g problems on my 2nd moto droid

ok i had to exchange my droid 13 days after i bought it. gave me a new one at verizon. but now i am having 3g go out all the time in spots it wasnt before. its getting very annoying. its constantly going to 1x when other droids are just fine beside me. whats up with this? i am bout ready to take this dam thing back and wait for nexus one.

I also have that problem. I'm showing 3G until I place a call. Then no 3G. Any thoughts?
