Apps ACTION_SEND intent automatically creates SMS

Hey guys,

I'm having issues with the ACTION_SEND intent creating an SMS unintentionally.
I'm wanting to share some text using Intent.createChooser, allowing the user to choose what social platform they want to use to share. Problem is, even if I don't open the chooser, draft SMS messages would be created and saved when I open the Messaging app.

Is this a common problem? I've tried filtering the chooser to only have Facebook and Twitter, but filtering doesn't seem to work.
