I have a built racecard for a sporting event using Google spreadsheets. I would like to build an Android app to allow users to complete the racecard on their phone.
Basically I would like some advice on how to architect the app. My idea was to allow the user to navigate the spreadsheet using buttons in the app - i.e. a view for Home Team, Away Team, Heats 1-3, Heats 4-6, Heats 7-9, Heats 10-12 and Heats 13-15.
I can view the spreadsheet on my phone (via the Google Docs Web site), but it is difficult to see more than a few cells and very difficult to accurately click on a cell to edit it.
Maybe a spreadsheet isn't even the right way to go???
