Root Ally screen nonresponsive

Need help. I have an Ally running velocity 1.2.2 beta 18. Great ROM. I was playing around, and flashed velocity 0.4. Since that, my screen is non responsive. I used the lgnpst method to upgrade the software, that worked fine, however, now the phone is stuck on the activation screen. I cant touch the droid on the screen. The screen was working fine before I installed velocity v0.4. Is this a firmware issue? I'm out of answers. Phone was working fine with Velocity 1.2.2, now nothing. Can I fix this? How? Thank you in advance. Maybe corrupted a file?

Ouch bro. I had that problem before. Probably while flashing something broke, pretty sure its hardware related. Was on mine anyway. I just bought a new Ally.

You went from Velocity 1.2.2 beta 18 to Velocity 0.4? Was you super bored or something?

Well, i got the ally for next to nothing, and had a ball with rooting, etc. by the way, much thanks for all the info from everyone here. most helpful.
