Android Adaptor

hi there so i recently brought a huawei blaze U8510 phone and when i connect it to my vista laptop it cant install the android adaptor ive tried everything i looked on the huawei site but couldnt find anything when i plug it into my partners windows 7 windows update automatically finds it (so use that comp u may say) but i can hardly ever get on that and the vista is my laptop that i use all the time and im constantly trying to upload photos etc and put music on to get full use of my phone! any help much appreciated xx

So, when you connect to USB your memory card doesn't show up on your desktop? Even after pulling down the notification bar at the top of your phones' screen & choose connect USB mode?

i get cd drive mobile partner and that 3 removable disks are looking for photos but nothing is ever imported??????????
