In 2 years, yeah or 1.5 years as Verizon's upgrade cycle goes... I figure some of the guys jumping from the Rezound to the Nexus need to see if they're trying to fill that void or if they really see it as an upgrade. I don't see it as a big enough step up to warrant swapping it our for the Rezound.
My short answer is "Yes". A short reason is that I agree with your assessment.
I like cool technology but from a real world use standpoint technology is generally evolutionary. The Rezound hits all the high points for current leading edge and useful technology. In my very humble personal opinion the technology won't go ballistic in the next months it will just evolve. Now I'm certain the marketing hype will go ballistic for stuff like quad core and the iphone 5 but for me none of this will "out date" what I can do with this little elegant piece of very advanced technology.
Now remember I just upgraded from a wall mounted crank phone that connected me with Mildred the operator so what do I know?
^yeah seriously those of us with the Rezound really don't have to upgrade. It's the guys with any Nokia or Sony-Ericsson phones that badly need to upgrade ha ha....
edit: i should say USA market... the people in other parts of the world have fancy new Nokia and Sony-Ericsson phones that just aren't available here.
