Help anyone ever replace a loud speaker on an evo 4g?

i was thinking of giving it a try. i am pretty familar with stuff like this but i was wondering what the level of difficultly was to see if i should even attempt it.

One phone sounded like the speaker was blown, it was intolerable to listen to at all levels, 3 months in. Sprint repair did replace it, in an hour. Took some wrangling, but on their dime as well.

I've had my speaker replaced twice. They did them both in under 10 minutes. Now it sounds great.
