How do you delete the Friend Stream App and email accounts that you no longer want to use.

You can't uninstall the friend stream app without rooting.

For the regular mail one, you just hit menu->more->at the bottom there is delete account option.

for gmail, its menu->accounts, then hit menu again hit account settings. then select the email account you want to get rid of and at the bottom of the screen there should be a remove account button.

You can remove the Friend Steam App from that homepage though if you longpress it and then drag it to the bottom where it says "Remove." That won't delete it though.
