Not to be outdone with Samsung's exotic Edge, Apple as folks may know now have released a new form fitting device. In spite of Apple's denial, the issue is very real. "Simple" solution is to not put it in your pant pockets, but a LOT of people carry their phones that way.

None the less, the phone does bend in tight forming conditions and of course does not bend back. Tater chip phone. Or as my wife, friends and family would say in England, a tater crisp phone. They would not say "tater" though...

It is possible that the aluminum frame gets more flexible as it warms up - being in a pants pocket is going to make the phone warmer, which could possibly be part of the reason it bends easier under that situation. However, it seems that people can bend them quite easy with their hands without the phone having been in their pocket as seen on several video's. Between the ios8 debacle bricking the new iphones and the poor aluminum frame of the phone, it seems the iPhone 6's are gonna need some major recalls/replacements.

At least they are past the "You are carrying it wrong" stage and are admitting the issue, offering to replace the phones. Pending a Genius store member reviewing the level of bend first....

That subjectivity is bound to create some in-store argument scenes.

Update: Spoke too soon. Apple states only nine people have complained about the bend. Statistically with millions involved in the sample (about 2 million Plus's) that is an incredulous number to state. Never doubt Apple's arrogance. This statement trumps "You are holding it wrong".
