welcome to the forums!!!!!!!
not sure what you mean. if you clicked on the market icon it will update to the play store. the market icon will either disappear or be a dead link. all you need to do is remove the market link (if it is still there) from the homescreen and then replace it with the play store. or just add the play store to the homescreen.

if you mean you want the old market back that unfortunately you can't do. unless you have an old market apk. but as soon as you select it it will automatically update it. you can always root your phone and remove the market updater.

Actually, the Market is built-in bloatware - after uninstalling "Play Store", look for the "Market" widget in "All Apps".

I just tried it and it worked - now I'll have to manually force the "Play Store" update.
