Apps on SD card - Is it just me..

Is it just me or does there seem to be a big drop in performance when you move apps to the SD card? I don't just mean for the apps in question but for the whole phone?

Would be interested to know how others have found this..

My understanding is some apps can work from the sd card but others have to be in internal for them to work. It's like a trial and error thing. Basically you have to do one at a time to see which work better where.

It depends on the speed of your SD card as some SD cards are faster than others and so the applications will be able to run of them quicker.
