Root Apps2SD

Is it possible to move apps/settings/scores to SD using Apps2SD then move back after root? If so, how. Working with a friends phone and tried, but can't get it to work. For example, moved Angrybirds to SD, rooted, installed Apps2SD and can't "see" Angrybirds on SD to move to rooted phone.
